How Can Pediatic Occupational Therapy Help
How Can I Help?
I support healthy, holistic child development by helping children build their skills in order to participate in activities and tasks that they need to do and want to do in their day. This includes things like sleeping, eating, dressing, and toileting, as well as playing and learning. Occupational therapists are experts in task analysis and understanding how an environment impacts a child’s functioning.
What the People say
Testimonials
Chelsey is an absolutely phenomenal pediatric occupational therapist! One of the biggest values we had as a family was for our child to feel connected to her therapist and enjoy her occupational therapy. I cannot say enough about how important this is because when there is no connection, children have no desire to cooperate and cannot learn optimally.
We were so fortunate to find Chelsey. Chelsey is so patient, respectful and honoring of our child, her needs and who she is as a person. My child feels this and gets so excited about her therapy visits. She is making so many gains and having fun at the same time! I truly believe this is how it should be and cannot recommend Capable Kids therapy highly enough!

We always appreciate when Chelsey comes into the classroom. She observes the children and gives us different tips on how to work with them. She gives us an understanding of how to help the children with very clear expectations of the child’s level and next steps.

We have been working with Chelsey for the past year and it has been a game changer. In this short time our son has overcome his fear of riding in elevators. Chelsey met our son where he was at in that fear, and although I would like to say it was a slow progress, it actually happened quite fast, and I really believe it was because of Chelsey’s gentle approach and the techniques she incorporated. She is extremely competent, explains concepts and techniques well and was always able to answer my questions thoroughly. She is so patient, fun, and kind, not only to our son but to us parents as well. She has a wealth of knowledge and ideas and if she doesn’t have an answer for you now, be assured she will work with you to find one.
